How time flies! beleive it or not we are just over two weeks away from our next follow-up scan and 24 sleeps until we go on holiday (not that i'm counting of course!).
Joshua is doing amazingly well, two weeks ago his tube blocked with a natural
medication he is on and as his appetite had been steadily picking up, I thought, right, time to see how we go here. So i am happy to say that joshua has been tube free now for two weeks and it isnt going back in!
He started back at kindy week before
last, just a couple of hours a day and has been making steady progress since. Now he's going to Music on a Wednesday, Ready Set Go! a before school programme at School on a Wedensday afternoon and to kindy. So his life is full of all the good childish things
that it should be. He's not so tired, most days now he goes without a sleep. His lips are pink, his eyelashes are lush and his hair is growing back really quickly!
Its amazing, even though his hair is still very thin and a bit patchy, we walk into school
now and people dont see him. The difference of not having a tube is unbeleivable, suddenly people think that hes younger than what he is because he doesnt have a lot of hair. A Mum said to me at school the other day in Joshua's ready, set, go! class, 'is he
One thing that was so nice to see, when Joshua got amoungst his peers, was that Joshua isnt shorter than them all. He's about avarage, which was so nice to see!
