I'm sorry about the long time/no blog... you get home and get absorbed in the 'ings' of life. Cooking, washing, vacuuming, cleaning, complaining and in my case medicating and temperature gauging. We have been housebound, but Joshua doesn't want to go
anywhere anyway, he just wants to be home! At night it's been a case of musical beds, Georgia generally snakes in with her father and then despite the king size bed, turns into human glad wrap (very wriggly glad wrap I might add!) so Mikes been waking up tired,
nothing to do with the three year old foot, that he has to pull out of his ear/neck/nose/bum in the mornings!
I on the otherhand, I've been snuggled with Joshua most nights in his new double bunk, I have alarms set for medication times through the night.
But coming home brings with it new issues, mike is keen to get hold of the reigns of our business again, he's got lots of tidy ups to do. We're also heading into the quiet time of the year, so money is getting a little tight too!
Anyways it was a bit
exhausting at home. Joshua had been running a low grade temp the whole time and keeping on top of his pain was a nightmare. So it was kind of a relief yesterday when I rang our 'Aunty Cath' Cath Mott, our outreach nurse and she told us to come in. Today, he's
been started on morphine, but also might have a line infection, so we are here for a minimum three days....
