I'm very pleased to announce, that early this morning that our 19 day drought was broken. So Joshua is now well and truly on the mend. He still is needing a little morphine from time to time to tide him over, but he is much improved. We now have a reasonably
firm hope that we will get him out to celebrate his sisters birthday next weekend.
The last two days, I've slept a lot. Yesterday Mike dropped me and Georgia at Sylvia Park. I wasn't very conversational with him. I said, I just feel shocked. The last
two and a half weeks has just been so horrendous, twice I prepared myself for the fact that he might not survive this round of chemo. Yesterday I was a bit of a stunned mullet, but by the time I got back to the hospital in the afternoon, I felt much better.
Today I have slept twice, I expect I might be like that for a few days, now that my adrenaline and cortisol levels are having a bit of a break!
Much, much better day.
