Saturday delivery!

I'm very pleased to announce, that early this morning that our 19 day drought was broken. So Joshua is now well and truly on the mend. He still is needing a little morphine from time to time to tide him over, but he is much improved. We now have a reasonably firm hope that we will get him out to celebrate his sisters birthday next weekend.

The last two days, I've slept a lot. Yesterday Mike dropped me and Georgia at Sylvia Park. I wasn't very conversational with him. I said, I just feel shocked. The last two and a half weeks has just been so horrendous, twice I prepared myself for the fact that he might not survive this round of chemo. Yesterday I was a bit of a stunned mullet, but by the time I got back to the hospital in the afternoon, I felt much better. Today I have slept twice, I expect I might be like that for a few days, now that my adrenaline and cortisol levels are having a bit of a break!

Much, much better day.
