Well it's been reasonably settled waters here in Auckland today. we started with several 'poofs' which was a good start but it never amounted to anything. He still has some pain, and he vommitted again this avo, but overall not a bad day. Just doing
time really until his gut really kicks into action.
Daniel and I spent the afternoon together in town. Both boys got shoes that light up when they walk, Joshua has been a bit reluctant getting out of bed the past few days, getting a bit 'hospitalised'.
Getting the shoes was a way of getting him out of the sack and down the corridor and it worked a treat.
It was really nice getting out and about with my big boy, nice to walk along holding his hand. The thing about something like this happening
in your family, is that it does do untold damage to everyone. Joshua gets all the attention, it's like having a permanent newborn in the house. Georgia, being so little has adapted well, she clings to,Dad or Nana and is happy 99% of the time. Daniel on the
other hand, gets a lot put on him. We don't mean to do it but we just can't help it. A friend said to me recently, that even five years down the track in there house, it still causes problems between siblings.
Another sad thing today, was the departure
of our friends Craig and Clare who have become like family, we were together for nearly our whole journey and they have the brilliant news of Samuels graft taken. They have gone back to the Naki, but will only be up every second week now. good luck Partridge
family!!! Wel'll miss you here at the mews.
